Khaira College, Khaira has a strong and vibrant Registered Alumni Association bearing Regd. No. 8318 – 39 on 20th October 2006 under certificate of Registration of Societies Act XXI of 1860. The college strives to develop and strengthen a continuous rapport with Alumni. Notable Alumni include Entrepreneurs, industrialists, University rankers and gold medallists, principals, professors, doctors, engineers, researchers, Administrative officers, actors, singers, businessman, social workers and politicians etc. Alumni Association adds alumni members every year and the alumni play the role to provide financial, physical and consultancy to college. Besides the Alumni at present function under the state Govt. program “Mo College Abhiyan” and a separate Bank Account is being operated.

Alumni meeting are held at least once in a year. Feedback is collected from the alumni and after analysis of the feedback appropriate step is taken by the institution. It helps our institution not just financially but in terms of academic planning, infrastructure development, career guidance and on job guidance. They help to collect and donate fund for extension of college building and beatification of campus. Some members contribute to the development library and we have one Book Bank in the name one old student ManjulaBehera. Some of our alumni students have donated fund to honour meritorious students and the college awards 12 prizes on foundation Day for outstanding performance of outgoing students in different subjects. Alumni students are invited for guidance and special lectures. They provide necessary suggestions and present practical experience of their life to build up successful career. Some alumni are elected as public representatives; they help us whenever there are some local problems. They are engaged and consulted in shaping policies and over all development of the college.

During meets they provide needed suggestions for development teaching learning process, expansion of library and adoption of ICT to make students competent at par with developing scenario. Alumni members involved in social work are invited to NSS camps to inspire volunteers. From among the alumni the doctors in local CHC visit college and provide free medical service. Many alumni have helped college by delivering lectures as resource person in various fields. Their presence on various occasions such as cultural program, sports, yoga, and seminar help to strengthen collaboration among past and present students. They come forward organising talks with regard to character building, eradicating social evils like drug addiction, intolerance, disobedience and waywardness.

Every year alumni members donate handsome amount. They offer help like poor, procuring books, chairs, tables, computer, water purifier and furniture. Alumni contribute to prizes on college foundation day under different memorial heads. Our alumni are settled in vicinity and running various small scale industries, so at very affordable or sometime free of cost they support college by providing JCB, Tractors etc. whenever and wherever necessary for maintaining ground and campus. The college since its inception, being built up in the rural vicinity, has come to be the premier institution in the district by the help of Alumni and local gentry.
