Khaira College has constituted the Anti Ragging Committee. All students shall familiarize themselves with rules/regulations/guidelines on code of conduct, anti-ragging measures and discipline of the college. Students of the college have the option to file complaints offline, online, or through campus complaint boxes. Ragging is used to establish dominance among recently enrolled students or students who are in any other way viewed as junior or inferior by their other students. The college has a strong Anti-Ragging Committee that rigorously forbids ragging in any setting.
Objectives
* To aware the students of dehumanizing effect of ragging inherent in its perversity.
* To keep a continuous watch and vigil over ragging to prevent its occurrence and recurrence.
Functions of Anti-Ragging Committee
* To ensure compliance with the provision of the regulations and any law for the time being in force concerning ragging and to deal and act promptly.
* To keep monitor on the happening of events related to, in side campus or outside campus or other intended place in the premises.
* To monitor and observe in the function and performance of the Anti-Ragging Committee in prevention and curbing ragging in the institution.
* To be vigilant at all hours including at odd hours all round the campus and other places vulnerable to incidents of and having the potential of ragging and shall be empowered to inspect such places.
Through “UGC Regulation on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institution, 2009,” all potential instances of ragging in college are resolved (if any).
