Keeping in view the development of Odia Language and Literature, the Odia Sahitya Samsad of Khaira College has undertaken a novel step. It has planned to publish a Journal every year dealing with a special issues on the works of an eminent literary artist (poet/writer/novelist etc.) under the title "SRUJANEE". The journal shall be unveiled on the Foundation Day (18th August) of the college every year. The Sahitya Samsad has been fondly patronized by Dr. Anadi Charan Rout, Reader in Odia of this College with a substantial sum of Rs: 2,00,000/- (Two Lakhs). He has been nominated life time secretary of this organization.
