Time today is accident ridden. Accidents occur every minute either inside or outside in any form or other. Keeping in view of this the college has started Youth Red Cross in response to Letter No. 380(6)YRC/Dt. 17-08-03 from the Secretary Indian Red Cross Society, Bhubaneswar with 35 volunteers from academic year 2003-04. It Functions under the Chairmanship of the Principal and one faculty members as Incharge Officer.

The mission of the Youth Red Cross is to render service to the destitutes, diseased, helpless and people in disastrous situations. In addition to this , its motto is to save life by donationg blood generously.
